  • Senior IP NOC Engineer | Dublin, Ireland

    Summary:

    As a Network Operations Center Engineer, you’re the tech-savvy guru that collaborates between Network Engineering and Support teams. You are passionate about diagnosing problems and coming up with actionable solutions. You’ll triage, own and escalate technical product issues surfaced by customers, and our internal teams. Our Technical Service engineers undertake an extensive 12 week training period in our Silicon Valley offices and return to our South Dublin offices for further training and assignments.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Resolve voice / data outages
    • Perform network maintenances
    • Resolve client escalations from Customer Care
    • Monitor network health
    • Participate on the on call rotation
    • Provision new hardware such as Cisco Routers / Phones / PDU / Switches

    Summary:

    The Customer Services Engineer’s ‘Tier II’ primary role is to support a client base that spans several metros consisting of over one thousand network nodes. Responsibilities include resolving voice / data escalations from the customer services team and Customer Services Level I staff, performing network maintenances, participating in an on call rotation, and holding training sessions for internal staff. The ideal candidate must be customer oriented, strong believer of documentation and process, flexible with their schedule, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done right.

    The Financial Analyst is focused on leading the forecasting and analytics for WiLine Networks. This position will report to the CFO and work withother members of the Finance team to develop and manage analytics that will chart the course for strategic and proactive finance within the company. The position will regularly interact with senior management to provide analyses and recommendations in support of asset management, operations, debt, and valuation.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the process for forecasting financial performance of all aspects of the business and its product offerings.
    • Establish and maintain strong partnerships cross functionally (inside and outside of finance) to promote teamwork and organizational alignment.
    • Review leasing terms to ensure all leasing deals enhance value and drive smart growth.
    • Present ongoing financial insight into operation efficiencies; share early identification of problem areas and relevant reporting as appropriate.
    • Deliver comprehensive 24-month rolling forecasts and financial models to provide detailed financial and operational analyses for management.
    • Develop and maintain liquidity forecasts.
    • Help establish and manage other proactive analytics such as peer group benchmarking, analysis of macro-economic trends, etc.
    • Assist in the development and reporting of key performance metrics to help drive increasing Sales productivity.
    • Extract data sets, perform analyses, build financial models to support senior management requirements.
    • Identify and research gaps in sales opportunities and line item details – working cross functionally to drive resolution to reconciliations.
    • Assist in the development of annual expense budgets and monthly forecasting processes for the worldwide Sales organization; including preparing slides for quarterly management meetings or other leadership presentations, analysis of results
    • Process creation and documentation – work to improve existing procedures, update and organize documentation or reporting and planning processes
    • Other responsibilities include: Product development cost analysis; Moderate involvement in accounting close; Headcount reporting and forecast; Financial analysis supporting product and capital investment decisions; Maintain, create and implement internal controls; manage on-going cost-out initiatives in conjunction with Accounting staff and functional managers company-wide.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance ; 5+ years Industry experience; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling experience required.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytic ability required.
    • Results oriented - driven to meet deadlines while not sacrificing quality.
    • Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized.
    • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills a must, to interact with groups internally and externally, including senior executives.
    • Ability to multi-task various projects to hard deadlines, including prioritizing and time-managing recurring duties and ad hoc tasks as they arise.

    • Must be willing and able to travel to all corporate offices both domestically and internationally to work with local functional and cost center managers on finance, business and special project related initiatives.
